MIXED STORY 

SIZE: 8.5" x 6.5"in book,  20" x 15" in poster
IDEA: Visual understanding of who I am as a Jamaican, African American woman. 
MATERIALS: Cardstock, woodblock, Adobe illustrator, Laser cutter
PROCESS: After doing research on each sides I chose the best patterns to represent. African and Jamaican have very simple shapes that are designed in unique ways and forms. I choose the shapes circle, rectangle's and triangles to represent my African Jamaican side. Therefore to represent my American side I used the originals star shape with a twist of lines added into the shape to represent the American flag.
